Follow the seasons with Fletcher’s Almanac volume II

Following the success of her first almanac, fashion and sustainability pioneer Kate Fletcher returns with a second volume - Almanac II - due for release this October.

Moving through the months of the year, following solar rhythms and seasonal patterns, the book interweaves stories of land, humans, and the more-than-human.

It highlights the entanglement between humans and the Earth, showing how both fashion systems and human consumption as a whole are both deeply intertwined with - and dependent on - the natural world. The fashion industry’s treatment of natural resources reveals the growing disconnect in our relationship with nature. How can we live - and dress - while (re)connecting to Earth and recognising her limits, in particular in times of an accelerating climatic shift?

This pocket-sized book, beautifully illustrated by Stephen Fowler, is the perfect year-round companion for anyone who seeks to engage with fashion in more meaningful, ecologically sensitive ways. It challenges conventional understandings of fashion by introducing different practices and ways of thinking about fashion beyond the extractivist notions that have dominated the fashion economy for too long. Instead, Fletcher entices us to practice accountability and humility, and to celebrate our entanglement with nature through dress.

Fletcher’s Almanac II will be published on 1st October 2026 and is available to pre-order now.
