Darning workshop with Meet Make Mend
Atelier, Trinity Rooms, Field Road, Stroud £25
Learn darning techniques from Kat Child and Katy Bevan as inspired by the latest Quickthorn darning book by Japanese stitching guru Hikaru Noguchi, Beyond Darning.
Materials will be supplied, but do bring any textiles you want to repurpose and mend. Refreshments available.
We’ll be in the Base room at the back of the hall. Refreshments available.

Event FAQs
Do I have to bring anything?
We'll have all the materials you need, though if you have anything with a hole that needs mending we can take a look and see how best to fix it.
Can I come to the talk as well?
Yes, we'll be finished at 5pm in good time for the talk at 6.30.
Do I need to know how to sew?
No experience is necessary! We'll show you the basics, though there'll be inspiration for the more experienced stitchers.
Will you have copies of the book there?
Yes, you can buy your copy at the event, or order it in advance from Quickthorn or your local bookshop.
